You set up picture password under security and privacy > Device password. It's built into the os

It's not an app. It's included in the latest 10.2.1 OS. Under security and settings and device password.

Yes ty, waited and it worked

You may also run into issues if you're hooked into an exchange/activesync email account.

So far so good, but decided to remove it. Not really practical for me

If you use a password lock at all, I don't see how it would not be practical....if you are finding it difficult to use, don't hold on the number you want, but pull/push from a different part of the screen...

I RESET my "crosshairs" this morning as I was having trouble getting it in precisely the slightly nebulous location i had originally picked.
I never knew about cross hairs,I like that ,I'll make changes if that's true,Thanks.Seems like the top of a marble would be ideal and harder to notice if you were looking or challenged to open the phone.,
No, there are NO real cross-hairs. That's why I placed it in quotes. It is just that I was personally more precise in making sure that I knew which part of the Number should be touching or very close to my "contact" point. Before I had been a bit vague so that there was no very precise feature on the picture that the number touched. There was an open gap and I was slightly off. Well, that was enough to have me miss more often than I hit. I got tired of typing "blackberry"
I think by 'cross hairs' they were just saying that they reset their unlock location to be more precisely where they wanted it, also don't forget that you can choose any picture that you want...I use one from a jobsite that I am currently working on...

That is what I did mean. My first POINT was offset from a more specific object - so floating, as it were, making it very non-precise. I have now redone it so it is DEFINITE.
I would imagine with appropriate cameras capturing eye movements, these could be figured out but my data is not worth that much.
