Any larger file file can be sent via sending it to cloud first then providing link on bbm.

That's way too much work to send a picture in MMS, and not everyone has or wants BBM, I just want to be able to send pictures thru mms/sms like I use to with my other BlackBerry's

This is one thing I have never understood. Don't remember having this issue with BB7. Why would anyone want to send blurry images?! I would like to see this fixed.

    Via The BlackBerry Z10 Experience.

I agree it's ridiculous. You can also email the picture.

Same problem here. The pictures i sent max out at under 100kb and look horrible and embarrassing. MMS pictures I recieve are several hundred kb. No doubt BB did this on purpose to "save data" but who even cares about these days? I think it's even annoying to not be able to default sending HQ on BBM and having to request it.

I was gonna ask the same question. The text on the picture are basically unreadable, lost a lot of details over all. Kinda like a down side on BB10.

I too am tires of not being able to send MMS that aren't viewable. They just look like 30 oversized pixels.

When I posted about this a while back some people say that it's how a service provider compresses it. Then how could BlackBerry not urged them to fix it.

Another thing, how come we're not allowed to send mms via wi-fi like on androids. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have the option to receive them and not having to make sure that the data services are on.

How have they not fixed this.

Does the latest update or any of the leaks fix this issue? It's pretty bad that our pictures sent via text are horrible (grainy/pixelated) while iOS/Android users' pictures aren't nearly as compressed. I know you can request high quality pics on BBM and use a bunch of other workarounds, but we shouldn't have to...I never noticed this problem until my parents picked up their Z30s (I have a Z10).
