I am kinda confused about something. I dont know if it has been treated here or not. If it has, den I am sorry for bringing it up again.

Please, I find out that my pictures gets a duplicate immediately I crop it and use it for display pic on bbm or whatsapp or when I post to instagram.

The phone saves the uploaded picture, thereby making it two in my picture library

Is there anyway to turn that off or is it just my phone??

Yes, it will save the original in its original form, I think most people would prefer it that way, you can always delete the one you don't want to keep
