Sometimes I don't see the images in the gllery captured by camera on my z10 with os 10.2.1.2941.

Where are your photos captured? I have issues if the pictures are saved to my 64gig SD card. No problem if saved to internal memory. The pictures are on the card but won't show in a few apps but are found by file Manager. But I generally either move or copy them to the card for safe keeping after taken.

Happened to mine and ny friends phone. We had to back up, factory reset and restore.

After every 3 months it's food to do this. Like servicing the phone.

Happened to me once, pics stored on the sd card not visible. Took the card out en reinserted solved my problem.

I have a troubleshooting steps for this:

1. Check software:
1.1 exit picture /media app then go back if it would work
1.2 check the file via file manager
1.3 power off, power on
1.4 restart your phone
1.5 reboot

2. Check hardware:
2.1 will the SD card be read on another phone?
2.2 will your phone read another card?

3. Reload OS

I have the exact same problem, pics on my sd card only show up in file manager, but no other apps, not eveb in "photos"

They will show up eventually. But that might be a few days or more. I think it is an indexing problem. I now save to Internal Memory so that I can quickly email or otherwise share them. But as I wrote, I also tend to quickly copy or move them to the sd card for archive purposes.
