    Hi!
I have an issue with my blackberry Z10: when the battery is at 45%, the phone turns off and restart as if the battery was dead, and won't stay on unless I plug it in - this only a few hours after I charged it to 100%.
I upgraded the software on monday, but I saw no changes at all.
    Any tip?

Have you tried doing a hard reset after the update?

when the phone is turned off, remove the battery, sim card and sd card. Leave it 1-2h, back and charge the phone to 100%

Don't use generic or weak chargers with your Z10. They throw off the charging circuits. To recalibrate and solve your issues follow these steps:

    1. Plug out original BlackBerry Charger.

    2. Take out Battery, SIM Card and SD Card.

    3. Plug in original BlackBerry Charger to electrical outlet and phone.

    4. Attempt to turn phone on by holding down the power button for 7 seconds. You might see the red led come on. You might also see the white Blackberry Logo appear and then disappear repeatedly. There are other things that might happen at this point. Leave the phone like this for 3 minutes. It may or may not turn off for itself after a while. It may also show an image of a Red Battery outline in the centre of the Screen then shut down. In any case after 3 minutes plug out the charger.

    5. Leave everything out and unplugged for 1 hour.

    6. Put back in SIM Card, SD Card, Battery and Battery cover.

    7. Plug Charger into electrical outlet.

    8. Plug Charger into phone.

    9. Leave everything. Do not press power. Do not attempt to turn on the phone. Allow the phone to charge. You should see the green and yellow charging LED after a while. When it's charged enough it will turn on for itself.

Allow the phone to charge to 100% if possible before removing it from the original charger. Then allow it to discharge down to below 10% if you want to test to see if it's functioning normally again. You may have to repeat the process if the phone shuts off prematurely again. Eventually that same battery might return to a healthy state and function normally on that phone.

Never use weak chargers on your Z10 again.
