Hello friends,

I m new in this forum and its my first post.

I just bought z10 a week ago.

My phone turns off at 20% battery level. And when I keep it in charging it turns on instantly with 21% battery. So I don't think it's a battery problem.

Can u guys help me out to sort this problem.

My Q10 turns of with 11% and can be charged only to 96%.
Q5 turns of with 6%.

Tried several tutorials here on CB and none of them helped. Now I have third Q10 all of them were having same problems with battery.

I think you need to learn your device a bit better

Do not do the security wipe that is the culprit for showing false battery %.

I had the same battery issues started after doing the security wipe.

As a fix:-

1. Reload the OS using BB link
2. Let the phone gets powered off completely
3. Once powered off remove the battery, sim, memory card
4. Leave it idle for 40-50 mins
5. Put back every thing
6. Plug in charge cable
7. Power on the phone will take some time to power it on approximately 5-10 minutes
8. Start using better charge it full

Problem solved......all the talks of calibration will not work......so dont try...


Only way is to replace battery
.......i did and problem is solved??

That being said, a new battery fixes the issue but only for a couple of months.

For me everything is normal , I can recharge to 100% and use till it drops to 2%

Try recalibrating it.
