    Anyone know how to get the battery % indicator on the home screen? I've attached a picture of someone else's home screen that has it as an example

    Just had to check it, lol. In gadget box it's not listed on the main menu. Just minimize it like the battery apps. To check battery settings, just pull down the settings, click general. Can't wait to get Battery % on10.2 without having to keep an app open.

    There's also an app, DocuShortcut, that allows you to create icons for Settings "subapps" (like About/Hardware) on the screen. You can set one up and if you press the icon, the Hardware showing the battery percentage will open. See the discussion of the app in the app section where various methods are presented.
