The Playbook PDF reader is terrible, and the 3rd party apps aren't that much better. What about the Z10? I'm on order and waiting for my Verizon phone to ship. Used Repligo on prior BBs, pricey but does more than most others, so I'm hoping there is something better on the Z10.

Adobe Reader should be improved in BB10. You can also side load a converted .apk to .bar version of an Android PDF reader such as Kingsoft Office which is probably the best one.

This is copied from one of my posts in another thread on this topic (http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...y-10-a-772988/):

    The stock app

-doesn't recognize bookmarks or internal links in any of my documents
-doesn't allow navigation using thumbnail view
    -doesn't allow you to annotate
    -doesn't have a search function
-doesn't recognize folders (lumps all documents on your device into one long list...happy scrolling if you have hundreds of documents like I do!)

On the positive side, it does load files quickly...once you manage to find them.

I regularly use PDF readers on my mobile devices to read and modify documents. This includes documents of over 600 pages. The adobe reader app on the Z10 does not cut it for this type of work. There are Android apps that you can side-load, which do a much better job. I would recommend going that route until the rumored update to the adobe reader app happens.

In summary, the Adobe reader app is absolutely awful except for very light use.

Your best bet is a sideloaded Android app (even the Adobe Reader for Android is leagues better than the BB10 version).

Does anyone know whether RepliGo reader will work on the Z10 or Q10 please? Either as a native app or by side-loading?

Works very well, I use it on my PB all the time. I sideloaded it on my z10 and its just as great. All features are there.

    good to know repligo works!

z10 reader is not great. there's text reflow but for some reason there's no pinch zooming, and the maximum font size you can set is still too small for me.

Repligo works like a charm on the Z10, and I find it to be much faster than on the PB. The stock Adobe app on the z10 is definitely faster than what's on the PB, so for quick viewing of documents, it's pretty good.

Not sure if "PDF reader" is available on the Z10, but it was the fastest pdf program for the playbook, but it's a paid-for app.

It's completely irrelevant but that word you have on the pdf screen looks 3d lol?

    Z10? Why yes it is.
