Ok, I'm out of space for apps on my Z10. One game is not installing because I am out of space.

How do I move apps to the SD card. I have lots of space there.

Good news is that this means there are alot of decent apps now for BB10!!

    Hey ptpete,

You cannot move applications to the SD card. All applications are saved on your device memory when downloaded.

*Clear pictures, videos, and documents from the device memory and transfer them to the SD card.

Unfortunately the only solution is to delete currently installed apps to make room. You will lose any saved data but they will still be available in BlackBerry World for you to download your purchases again in the future.

Delete your apps from home screen...they will still be available in BlackBerry World under my apps to reinstall...of course side loaded apps won't be there..

Edit...oops posted a little too slow...apologies for the repeat...

How do you ensure this to be done and all new pics/videos go to the SD?

What about android apps, can they be moved?

    Also what about the folder
    Device/misc/android
I seem to have alot of items in there. (Also how do you display/find the folder size?)

    TIA

NO apps can be loaded or moved to the sd card and run. You can probably store Android apk files that you downloaded on the sd card and delete them from memory and use the File Manager to reinstall if/when you need them again. Just as you can delete bb world apps and restore them.

    Surprisingly, not much
And it can be filled pretty fast just by using apps from BlackBerry World only :P

I filled mine long ago and thanks to the Christmas giveaway I now have a lot more apps not installed than installed.

I am pretty sure you don't even use half of the apps you have installed right now.

I'm certain that I do use all except Runtastic Pro, Smart Tags and BlackBerry Travel frequently. It's never wise to assume.

The problem is games... some can easily go into hundreds of megabytes.. which can soon fill device storage.

Otherwise you should be okay providing you save all media onto an SD card.

Fortunately, I'm not much of a gamer
