Is anyone else having issues activating their OoO alert from their Z10? The button is greyed out and i can not turn on the feature.

What type of email account are you using? Out of Office Reply only seems to work on ActiveSync accounts for me, greyed out on all the others.

Using my personal bell.net email address.

If that is the case, this is just yet another major oversight by BlackBerry which will reaffirm my decision to move away from this platform.

I'm have no idea, but are you sure it's BlackBerry fault and not the email providers fault? Can you set that up on other devices?

I just tried mine, and at first it was grayed out, but once I turn off auto signature I was able to turn on auto reply

My Auto Signature's are all off as it is, still only able to use the Out of Office Reply on my ActiveSync account. I don't know if there are certain IMAP/POP accounts that will work, but in any case it sounds like it's most like an issue on the provider's end.

I can't do it on pop or Hotmail. Always greyed out. Weird...

Edit- after a couple of seconds it becomes available on my Hotmail account. I switched off Wifi and it suddenly worked.... coincidence?

Yes I did and that works. I did notice after you turn off auto signature then you turn on auto reply you can turn auto signature back on.....

It must be an email provider problem with POP because when logging into settings in my Hotmail account it always takes a couple of seconds for the auto reply button to be clickable.... kind of like it is verifying settings

I would love to know how you did it on iOS. As far as I know, that feature isn't present on the iPhone. Unless you bought an app to support it?

Your ability to set out of office is always going to be predicated by the support of your email provider. The many more "basic" email servers don't support a user initiated server-side rule such as automatic vacation responders.

I would call your email provider and ask them.... I doubt it's the phone...
