    Have you installed a lot of apps?

    Try a restart:

    Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

    If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

    Many threads on this. Other data is anything that doesn't fit in the other categories. A security wipe will put everything back to your original settings and you can start over from there.

    A backup and restore won't help you as that data will simply get backed up and restored to the phone. Other data can be cache, data from your apps, anything really.

    He must be using an older OS, because that menu is not available on newer versions anymore.
    The new Device Monitor Storage section doesn't even show the "Other Data" anymore. On mine it shows that System has 2.53GB and Apps have 1.55GB, totaling 4.13GB. Yet it shows that in the Storage and Access Menu being 6.9GB are used. This is kinda stupid...
    Where is the rest???
