Hi guys, well I've noticed that after i updated my BlackBerry z10 stl100-1 from 10 to 10.1 the battery life begun to reduce faster. I dunno is this a bug from the os or what? I just need an explanation and thnxx

Most likely it is due to the syncing of the phone after update. Give it a few hours and a couple of reboots later it should be okay.

same as mine. first day after loading 10.1, the battery drained so fast and temp a bit warm.
I think it's because the syncing process with new OS. not a big deal.
but the next day.......it's AWESOME !!!

the battery life improved significantly from previous OS.
in 12 hours normal usage (phone, sms, bbm, whatsapp, browse, cb, and even skype) it only reduced 50% !!
see below screen test.

8am, full charging 100%

12pm, reduced 20%

4pm, reduced 35%

8pm, reduced 49%


until I made this post @8:30pm, battery index show 47% remaining.....AMAZING !!!
