Yeah I went there. Dropped my Z30 (moment of silence) and had to go back to my Z10. I forgot how much I like the size and build quality. WIFI and cellular signal are stronger and it's just a smooth experience.

The Passport is cool but pushing ultra-book status.

On a related note...not a fan of Android. Iphones are sweet but too expensive. Z10 is the best phone for the money. Can't wait for the next generation.

I had a Z10 and dropped it in a heartbeat as soon as I got my Z30. The next generation Z10 is probably something a little bigger than the Z30...better get used to that!

Looking forward to the next Z10 replacement. Was hoping to hear some talk about the Z20 on the Passport release day, but no such luck.

I love my Z10. I honestly feel guilty when I swap out to my Q5. If the battery was better, I'd declare it perfect. Size is just right for pockets and my purse.

But I would like to have the whole set. I can see advantages to all of them. Currently Z10 is the daily driver, Q5 is for weekends when I need something less smashy, or for when I'm feeling nostalgic about the clickety clack of my old 8330.

I agree with the OP. The Z10 is just the perfect size.

I remember pre-launch.. Thor has all kinds of studys and science proving that 4.2" was the perfect size.. the best for one handed use.. the best for being able to reach all corners with your thumb for the average size hand etc..

And for me all the above is true. I am generally one to upgrade to each new BlackBerry.. but I've resisted getting the Z30 because I think it's too big.. same with the Passport. Love the device. Love the specs and features but it's just too big. I love my Z10.

If and when the Z20 comes out.. if its between 4.2 and 4.3 inches I'll buy it in a heart beat. If all that launches going forward is bigger I might just stick with my Z10 until they stop supporting it with software upgrades. At the moment anything else feels like a size compromise and there's nothing new in them making that compromise worth while..

The one and only thing I feel like I'm missing with my Z10 is a better battery.

I felt the same. Loved the f out of my Z10. Even when Z30 was released I couldn't let go.

Stopped by the Telus store the other day to look at the Passport. Ended up leaving with one. I was on the fence about it until the sales dude pointed out the 14 day return policy. Figured why not give it a go, day 2 now and cannot see my self going back to Z10.

It really needs to be held/used to be appreciated.

Z10 better than Z30. More durable, more battery life. Not sure if it's better than Passport, especially the call quality or durability.

The Z10 would be perfect with a hardware slider keyboard, FM radio, and Miracast support. I'm going to keep the Z10 to play movies. There's this weird software or hardware glitch that outputs content as 3D. I get free conversion that makes my 2D movies 3D!

Z10 outer dimensions, with minimized bezels, AMOLED screen, USB OTG, and as good as battery as you can get,.. would probably be a nice "small" device. My sister refused to let me replace her Z10 with a Z30.... even though she's brutal on that thing's battery.

Nah, the Z10 screen felt like it got smaller and smaller each passing day. And the battery on that thing is terrible, so I bought the Z30.

    More battery life from a Z10 than a Z30? I don't think so!

I don't have any battery issues with my Z10 either.

Everytime I post it and how long my Z10 battery lasts, the nay sayers come out of the woodwork, claiming that I am wrong, delusional or stretching the truth. But whatever. Ya the Q5 battery lasts almost twice as long but the swappable Z10 battery is adequate.

I've had my z10 for a year with no issues. Just bought another 2 z10's for my kids last week unlocked for $199 each on shopblackberry . I don't know if there is a better value on the market right now

I have the money for the Passport but I still really love my z10. Just adoring my new awesome flip case/battery door I got from eBay. It even fits into my charging dock with the flip door on. Love it so much!

The battery on my Z10 goes on charge nightly at 23.00pm -06.00am Mon-Fri gets as far as 23 % during end of day,I dont mind that but when i use to take the Torch 9800 away for weekends there was no need for a charger but need to take one for the Z10.Oh well can't have it all i suppose.Otherwise i cant fault the phone at all really.

Jaydee, I'm with you and used the z30 for 6 months. It was great and I thought going back to the z10 was going to be a bummer. The Z10 though is perfect and such awesome quality. I get the media consumption angle but I'll take one handed use.

Since my z10 battery was so old, ordered a new one and am quite satisfied with it on 10.3. Still have to charge more than the Z30 of course but much better than the old battery.

Z10 is really perfect. I bet it is more organized than any other smatphone out there, excluding the Passport.

That said, id really love to have a Passport, but its priced at 1.14k here in Pakistan, which is absurd. Z30 does look good, but I believe I can live with my Z10's battery and a larger screen would be inconvenient.

But yeah, my next device is definitely the Passport, unless BlackBerry comes up with second generation Z10 in 1.5 years.
