try to open some items in BlackBerry Hub then you will find it much faster to open it again as it is already in the RAM, the same goes with other apps such as Contacts, Calendar,Assistant, Picture previewer, File picker, etc.
Android phones open apps faster only because its apps are always in RAM, in BlackBerry 10, you can just keep some of your frequently used apps in the background (headless) .

Both OS keep recently used apps in RAM, no difference.

And that way, just like on android, see (or don't see) how your battery empties itself in your pockets

It is not full of bugs, it will be if it is not an official release. However, every piece of software cannot avoid this bugs thing, it is just the matter of how you exploit it and depending on the types of users you are.

For example, you are a user that don't like to turn off your devices, let's say an android device. After a year your device gone wild and crash frequently. So what is the solution? You need to perform a hard reset, restart, format or shut down. If you maintain a weekly routine to restart your device once a week. It will be just fine to use and always in working condition. If this is an apps fault that causes the crash then you should file a report with an appropriate wording to the software developer.

Been running 1154 on my Z10 since it was leaked and everything works great. Haven't had any problems at all and it runs very smooth and fast. I have seen where people have issues on it but seems to be more Z30's than any other phones. For me on a VZW Z10 it's been fine. I also used an autoloader with no restore. No security wipes either.

Not really. All apps with no running services will be kept in memory in idle state.

My z10 runs a little faster with 10.3 installed than the day I got the phone. :-)

I keep the z10 in tip-top shape by manually closing Blend, Bridge, Travel, and App Installer. And for the runaway Android apps (besides Amazon app store) tap and hold the x of the active frame to completely close it.

Totally agree. I am running 10.3.1.1154 on my Z10 and have not encountered any bugs. Improved my phone so that it feels like a new phone.

The best way to improve the speed of a Z10 is to toss it and buy a Z30 (now cheap).
