So it was supposed to improve battery life but my battery life seems worse since installing the update. Usually I can go a full day usually about 7am when I unplug my phone from the charger till I get home from work usually about 11pm. But I have had to put it on the charger already today because the battery warning came on. We will see how it does tomorrow when the update is on and it starts with a full charge.

FYI I talked to Verizon tech support (about a different issue) but I asked him about the update and he said they have heard about it from other people but they do not know anything about it, nor did they release the update or the notification.

Yeah, I did, but had issues with receiving sms messages. I could send to the correct person, but any messages I received would be from random contacts. Example, texted my neighbor "Why are you mowing at 8PM?", response from my mother, "Mind your own business!"
It is not fun being back at 10.0.9 when I was at 10.1 for a day.

I had that happen when I restored from backup. I deleted my texts and it started working correctly.

Yep, I got the same notification overnight. I recall other carriers pushed out a Bridge update prior to 10.0.10, so I can only assume that's what's coming next...

I got the same thing and my phone says its up to date. I have only had 2 random reboots but that is two too many!!!

Got 1 mb but I didn't delete anything.

One thing I did notice. I was able to finally download and install the Verizon app that has been stuck in My World in BlackBerry World.


Nice to have it not showing in my update section of BlackBerry World.

I can only hope that the recent 1 MB VZW "OS Update" is a necessary incremental patch, intended to ready the Z10 devices for the next OS release - perhaps to 10.0.10.xxx . It is frustrating that hope is all VZW customers have in this regard, as there's no apparent timeline for when our devices will be on OS par with competing provider's devices.

Usually it happens over night while I'm charging my phone or when the battery gets to around 30% and I'm in Facebook. Roughly 2-3 times a day. Now nothing... I'm not convinced yet. I will update tomorrow.

Hey, that is what would happen to me too.
After this update it does seem to improve the battery life, at least it appear to anyways. I'll report back tomorrow and let you all know
