Exactly what I was thinking! I'll take it though.

On my Z10, it originally provided a list of updates very similar to the list that accompanied the 10.0.10.x update that many non-VZW carriers released in March.

Then after I let it sit on the settings/software update page for a while while checking the Crackberry buzz on this, the list of fixes had changed to "Application Updates".

So whoever it was that speculated that someone at VZW "Fat fingered" the notification may have been on to something..

My update listed so many things but it clearly said 422 and wasn't 10.1. Kinda weird I never had any battery issues but my battery went from full to half in about an hour for no reason. This was all before the update.

Glad to hear they have found a fix for a random reboot. My phone re-booted itself for that first time (during the day, normally reboots in the middle of the night) yesterday on my way home while playing music through my car's stereo via BT. I was pissed b/c it was in the middle of a Justin Bieber song!!

    JK... about the JB song...

Same here, just updated and it's the same version 10.0.9.422. Got the Z10 2 weeks ago & last might was the first time it started randomly rebooting; did it 4 times. hope this can be resolved soon.

Mine was 11mb, just put back bloatware from what I can tell, though that's usually more than 11...weird.

I do know that T-Mobile has pushed a few updates that didn't "bump" the version number. They told me they were MORE than replacing a delted carrier app. True? who knows. Just what they told me.

So, I gues it is possible that you ARE getting updated, but your version number may, or may not, increment... on TMo anyhow. (???)

I won't mention the other site I just checked, but they are saying the update being pushed is 10.1 ....

I am skeptical because of my Verizon experience with the Droid Bionic. But here is hoping.

For the people complaining that "Its just 10.0.9.422...at least in the computer world, it's not uncommon for a vendor to backport a change to an older version. This aids the testing process, since they only (mostly) need to test the parts of code directly touched by the patch.

If you instead do a whole os upgrade, there might be many other pieces of code that change and break new things.

We already know that Verizon back ported fixes from 10.0.10... to its release, so why wouldn't they continue that practice?

A version number is just a number...

That said, without a change log, we don't have any way to know if they actually changed something in today's release or not...

Got 1 mb but I didn't delete anything.

One thing I did notice. I was able to finally download and install the Verizon app that has been stuck in My World in BlackBerry World.

Nice to have it not showing in my update section of BlackBerry World.

Well, for me, this update fixed my problem with our Exchange 2003 Server.

I had to remove my work account, because the Z10 was flooding the Exchange Server with request ( using a lot of data, draining the battery and creating huge log files on the server ). We tried everything delete the account on the phone, on the server, etc ... no luck !

I recreated the account after the update, and it appear that the problem is gone ...
Will report back in a few days.

To those who have just had the 1MB update, I don't believe this is the actual update. It looks to me like Verizon has announced the update, but has not pushed it out everywhere. If you have deleted standard apps and request update, it will reload those apps, with same OS version and say it is an update. I think we will have to wait while Verizon rolls this out across the network.

No apps deleted here. None. But it did allow me to download the stuck Verizon app update in BlackBerry World
