    If I have a read message from one of my contacts and then receive a group message containing the same contact, my Z10 shows two unread messages. It shows the unread group message and then resurrects the old read message from the contact and marks it unread. It does this for the most recent read message for the contacts in the group message.

    I have this same issue...I wonder if it is a BlackBerry 10 bug or AT&T issue...

    What do you mean "on the list"?

    EDITED: I think you mean if the sender has an SMS that is visible in the Hub, which is true.

    Even if you're not sure of the resolution, has anyone else besides MDinFL and me seen this behavior? I would have guessed it to be a little more prevalent, but aside from this thread, I haven't seen any other mentions of it.

    I've posted the issue in the BlackBerry support forums as well.

    I am on AT&T and do a lot of group messaging and I've noticed the same thing. Hopefully they fix it soon, it's actually really annoying.

    Same thing happens here. It'll pull up the last text to me from everyone on the group text, and mark it unread and new. Yayyy! Minor bug, but annoying. Can't wait for 10.1!!

    Same problem for me, its very annoying, drives me nuts. Can't wait for this to get fixed. I'm on AT&T as well.
