    Sadly the answer appears to be no. Here is a thread where I asked the same question. No. 1 in Hamilton Guy's Consumer Bill of Rights is: "If a machine makes a noise, there must be a way for the user to turn it off."

    While on the number pad, hold the volume down button for 3 or 4 seconds.

    Only way to mute the dialpad sound is by changing your profile to either silent or vibrate, i have my z10 always on vibrate so i dont get that annoying dial pad sound.

    Hopefully BB will fix that and give us the option to mute the dialpad sound if need be.
