    When I receive any emails that go to my gmail folders (not inbox), I do not get any notification that the mail came in. Is there a setting that changes this?

    Did you go into your account settings, and click "Edit Folders" to make sure that the folder is being synced? With that said, I'm not sure if it'll notify you of an email that isn't in the inbox even if the folder is being synced.

    yep, it's synched and I get the mail....I see it in there. However, as you said no notification that it was received and I have not seen an option for this anywhere.
