The only thing I can do is cancel my subscription. I've had it with them.

yay, best news I've heard ALL day long. netflix is a joke and always has been especially here in Canada where you don't get a good selection and most of the major ISP kill your first born if you use to much data monthly. Next best news will be that Netflix is gone for good.

Netflix is a good service but they obviously don't care about their customers. Screw them. I've made my choice

Isn't this the same company that reported there would be no Instagram for BB10?

I have the US Netflix. Tried the CDN version and couldn't handle it. Netflix Canada is a waste. Plus I just got unlimited bandwidth for an extra $10 a month since I have 3 services with Rogers

Netflix is quoted in the article as is Alex Kissella from BlackBerry.

I think we can side load the android version and it works. There is a video somewhere of some one who did it. I personally don't use Netflix

ya I could get the unlimited package too for $10, but I'm moving in 2 months, and getting TekkSavvy with true unlimited service for half the cost of Rogers.

I don't really buy this article. I have heard from a few sources that netflix is coming and it was mentioned by Kinsella as well.

@QuIcKsIlV3r you have some good contacts at RIM, what have you heard?? I know skype is running pretty well internally.

Alex Kinsella tweeted the article and is quoted in it. How can it not be legitimate?

Whether you use these apps (Netflix, Instagram, etc) or not, when these apps aren't available BlackBerry loses current and potential consumers.

I don't use Netflix at all, so it doesn't matter to me. However, considering all the other good apps that will or have come over to BB10, if one were to drop BB10 simply for one measly app worth only for minor entertainment is ridiculous in my opinion. If anything, I'd rather drop this one small app and go for the whole BB10 system (if I were in that situation) but I'm sure there are some where Netflix means the world.

As for Netflix choosing WP8 over BB...I think there's unreasonable bias somewhere in that decision.

They make a pretty good Windows 8 version. Probably was a very easy port to WP8 (assuming the Windows 8 version came first).

Bla1ze got it working using a converted android apk. Can't get much easier to port than that!

Thats not a port, that getting the Android version to run. If you want a native version, it would need to be a full re-write.
