    I updated the OS on my Z10 and now I am no longer receiving emails. Everything worked prior to the update. I've tried deleting and reading the email account, restarting the device and doing a battery pull.

    Update was performed earlier this week. Haven't received a single email since then. It's my ISP's email which uses Yahoo.

    A last resort but have you tried backing up and reinstalling the os?

    So a quick update. It turns out the phone is receiving emails but they disappear shortly after being received by the phone. This just started after the OS update.

    I took it into the Telus store (where I bought the phone) and they tried backing everything up and reinstalled the OS and it's still doing the same thing. I talked to Telus technical support and they have no idea what's happening. I spoke to Rogers technical support and they couldn't help either. BlackBerry technical support told me to talk to Rogers and Telus technical support.

    Anyone have any suggestions? I've called Telus and their most recent suggestion was to get a Galaxy S4 or an iPhone. lol

    It was an official update. I got a notice saying there was an update available. Right now the Z10 is running 10.0.10.85.

    I have no idea, Telus, Rogers, and BlackBerry all said they've never heard of this issue. To their credit, Telus is the only one making an effort to help me.

    Be sure to check all your email settings. Going to a store is not going to help, you should know that.

    Sorry I don't follow. Why wouldn't I take it to a store for technical assistance? I called Telus and that's what they said to do since they couldn't assist me on the phone.

    I've already contacted BlackBerry and they said I need to talk to Telus or Rogers.

    What am I looking for?

    edit - Just to clarify, I can send and receive emails, they just seem to disappear shortly after I get them (which didn't happen before the OS update). I set up the email account according to the instructions on the BlackBerry website and it verified that the setting were working.

    Here's is what you should do.

    1. Create a full backup of your device with link
    2. Goto to BB10 OSes ← Open Source BlackBerry – OSBB and download the Z10 10.0.10.261 autoloader version
    3. Un zip and install the version. - Make sure your Z10 is physically connected to you computer
    4. Once the new version is up you should automatically be alert to upgrade to 10.0.10.85. Upgrade your device
    5. After the upgrade without installing any apps or restoring your backup test email
    6. Restore your backup.
