Hey,

Since I updated to 10.1 my battery of my Z10 goes crazy:

- Sometimes there is a sudden battery drop by almost a half within 10 mins (I only opened the Facebook application).

- And sometimes I plug in my Z10 in the night - but it's only bald or 3/4 charged in the next morning / after 12 hours.

Does anyone have the same? I really don't know what that is...

I have issue. Either the battery meter is red with an exclamation mark and doesn't charge or after hours of charge (overnight) it still flashed the charge bolt. When i unplug it its still not done. Also yesterday i had it completely drain for no reason at all in about 4 hours. Barely touched my phone and had no active tiles open. Today its been discharging normally but still no full charge.

My battery was horrible when upgrade to 10.1. So I changed setting Security and Privacy / Application. From there all or some apps try to turn off Shared File, Connect to BBM, Device Identify Information, Location, GPS Location. And battery now much better than it was. I am happy now. Was plug in 3 times, now only morning.

Even I noticed, the phone goes off very soon when I get signal below 20% battery. I suppose it is shut down at 15% battery in 10.1.0.1720 while in 10.0, it used to last quite long even after below 20% battery signal. Any other user is also facing this issue.

I have an issue where battery would drop from 17% to 0% directly but the phone would not shut down, the phone works normally at 0% battery for few hours before it suddenly shuts down, I guess at the real 0%.
I tried downgrading to a lower 10.1 version but the issue remains. Quite embarrassing and if it does not get fixed within the next two weeks I will send it for exchange under warranty.. that really pisses me off.

Had the same issue just after upgrading to 1720. The battery used to discharge from 90 to 0 in minutes and then would be up at 0% battery for hours. Was thinking of replacing the unit. Then had the phone connected to the wall charger overnight and restarted the phone in the morning. Since then no issues at all.

Give it a try.

I have exactly the same problem. It's a total nightmare as I a doctor and now can't use the Z10 any more. It won't charge with with a universal charger anymore and I get only 3 hours after a 12 hr charge with its own charger.

My battery too have a strange problem after the update to 10.1.After the update it has never been fully charged. Charging stops at 90% and shows that it is fully charged. This is driving me crazy.
