I have had my Z10 since April and whenever I set a Calendar event, I set a reminder, but it doesn't ring, blink or vibrate. All it does is show it on the lock screen. Anybody have a solution? Am I missing something silly?

I don't wish to state the obvious but did you check if sounds, vibrate or led are turned on for calendar reminder notifications in Settings?

    Settings, Notifications, Reminders...
    or,
    Settings, Notifications, Applications, Reminders

It depends what OS you're using.

    Who's your provider?

I know on outlook.com, I can set whether my "devices" get reminders or not by default. Not sure how that affects new calendar entries being created on your local device and pushed to the servers though (never tested).

I have several calendars set to off for email and device reminders.

I have outlook, too, but even the meetings set on device don't work. None do. I'm on ATT, but IDK if that changes anything.

just to clarify, the setting I am talking about is on the web interface of outlook.com. you have to log in via the browser and change/add the calendar reminder setting (see below). the garbage can on the right let's me delete all notification reminders. not sure if that's your issue, but it doesn't hurt to check.

I'm on my playbook. I'm not sure if you can access the menu on the z10 or not. best to use your pc.

to access those seetings, click the gear and a drop down menu will appear. click settings and then the calendar you want to change.
