Anyone using the android Nike + Running app on 10.3.1?

My Z10 is out of contract next month, bit tempted to keep it and just grab a pay monthly SIM instead of an upgrade. Instagram & Nike are my most used applications. To help make my mind up, does the Nike app run okay on 10.3.1 as it is temperamental on my 10.2.1 Z10.

It's an app & site of used for years and has 1000's of miles and stats logged on it. Too much invested so am after a phone/OS that runs the app.

I've been using Nike+ since December 2013, mostly with a Z10, mostly on 10.2.1. It ran okay but was a bit sluggish. My main reason for using it was for shoe tracking. I also discovered smashrun.com in August and was pleasantly surprised that it will import data from Nike+.

It seems to be significantly faster on my Z30 with 10.3.1. I'm not sure if it's the increased processing power, the newer OS, or the system refresh I did two weeks ago that improved Nike+ the most.

Cheers guys. As I said I've so many hours and miles logged I really don't want to give up on the app. It sounds hopeful that it works Ok on the latest OS. Food for thought...

Did just that today. Went for a test run, the app works but did warn me on startup that Google services is required for some components of the app. Which I think is for if you connect to Google Fit.

I'm having issues connecting my garmin device to the app.
Can you check what you have under partners in account settings? I had nike training , tom tom and garmin under that section. Now I can only see nike training.

The Partner's showing for me are:
    Nike+ Training Club
    Garmin
    TomTom
    xID

Not sure whether they work though as I've just used the Nike app on its own.

Update - I've just used it again this morning and it's quite temperamental. Also, it now uses Google Maps so any runs won't be displayed as a map anymore.

Great Pity they've tweaked the app to the detriment for BlackBerry users. This app is THE one app I need on my phone over all others. My contracts expired, time to move on and leave BlackBerry after almost 7yrs :-( Gonna look at the Sony Z3 I think.

Turns out it's an issue on the nike side. They will be updating the app soon.

Would anyone know why I cannot get the app to connect to my Facebook app? Or how to get it working? The option is there but it's grayed out. I was able to get the app to link to Twitter.

Mine is also grayed out. So it's probably something on their side.
You could try contacting nike support on twitter. They are pretty good and will have a better answer.

Oh okay. I mean, I was a little worried because it's available on my old iPod, but it doesn't support the newer versions of apps because it's such an old iPod.

Ok, I just installed Google Play Store(Cobalt) and it works fine but in some apps like Nike Running, it prompted me to install Google Play services which I tried but it couldn't install. Besides this, I installed Instagram which is working fine.

You'll have to patch those apps and then they will work. Check my Googe Apps landing page here on Crackberry.
