    Hi,

    Just purchased a new Z10 for my wife on the Rogers network and the phone is stuck on the software update screen with 0 out of 6 MB downloaded. Rogers store had wifi problems so they didn't set it up for me there. Tried turning off the phone and rebooting but just goes back to the same screen and won't let me out of it. Any ideas?

    Same thing happened to me when I did a wipe, I don't know if its what fixed it, but i plugged it in for a while and gave it a shot, it just let me skip the 3mb update process from TELUS, but I am guessing my battery was low, not really sure though.

    I think there was a thread here on this or on the official BlackBerry support forums, at work now so I cant go looking for it now.

    The device needs more than 20% battery life to either skip or complete the update. Plug the device in for a few min, and it will take care of itself.

    Sorry for the late reply. I just left the device on for a few more minutes and it went from downloading at 0% to succefully installed. Just BlackBerry not giving me the proper indication that something is happening I guess.

    in my experience with the dev alpha their update severs are a little slow but it is stable though

    Yea it's the battery charge level... i had the same issue this afternoon, i left it for a few mins and it worked!
