i've had my new z10 for about a week now and noticed that when its plugged in, i get the little lightning bolt in the battery indicator to indicate its charging.

Problem is it never stops. no matter how long i have the phone plugged into the oem charger, the lightning bolt never goes away indicating i have a full charge. i have no way of know what percentage its charging to since i dont know if theres a battery meter on this thing or not.

anyone seen anything similiar or can recommend a potential fix?

    thanx

What version of Z10 do you have? What OS version is you phone running? For me I do not use the OEM charger. I noticed that it takes forever so I used one from my old phone that is a 1 amp charger.

no. the new z10 has the highest amp charger. all my old chargers are less amped. that was one of the new things with the z10.

Old OS used to show constantly changing when it in fact wasn't and was already at 100%

New OS updates take care of this

I had that too on my Z and my Q at the beginning, I think it may be just the battery "breaking in"

BlackBerry has created the first battery with an infinite capacity!

Jokes, you can try reloading the OS, update your OS (to 10.2 if it's available via your carrier) or try a leak

You can see battery percentage. Pull down the Settings Menu. Open ABOUT and then use the dropdown on the right to go from general to HARDWARE and scroll down for Battery Percentage.
