    Hey guys. New z10 user. Previously gs3, I phone 5, bold 9000 and 9700.
Recently updated to the 116 on AT&T, or 166 can't remember.
Anyways, I'm pleased with the battery life so far today. Pulled off at 0520 this morning, it's about 1600. So roughly 11 hours of use. And I am one heavy user.
Roughly 1 hour 20-40 min of videos, YouTube, browser flash etc.
About 45-60 minutes of normal browsing, tech sites, reviews, news, amazon.com
100-150 texts. Really sporadic some days.
    1 hour of twitter usage.
20 emails read. 3-4 phone calls, 20 mim total.
And more flicking around with the device. I would say 5-6 of screen time and usage and 4-5 standby hours.
After all that sitting at a healthy 29% battery life. I run two widgets on home screen and twitter and Facebook and close everything else. Weather and bx battery info widgets.
Blue tooth and wifi off. Brightness at half. Notifications on, but led only for active text messages. Facebook, Twitter, one Gmail account, one BBM, and text messages syncing at all times. 4G lte connection at all times.
Other than that pretty generic heavy usage. And only 4th day with phone. First full day with new update.
I would say I am happy and comfortable with usage. I think any moderate user will get by every day at about 40-50% by bedtime.
Hope this helps someone, any questions for me ask away.

good for you mate. mine is way not in that league. i actually have to restrict most on my phone to get it to last the day. usually i take it out from plug 8am and by 230pm i have to charge or battery will die. i am a moderate user, mostly social apps since i am swamped with work. sad...

Only the fourth day with tour phone too? That's good to hear. For some it took a while to get the good battery life they have been experiencing.

My battery life is not great but i suspect that it is because of poor reception.

Uh oh, I'm in trouble then. I'm on Rogers, so still on the 10.0.10.85. I had one short charge at mid day and by 6pm, I'm left with less than 20%. I did use the gps on and off today, as I'm navigating in the States.

Navigation will drain the battery, you have the gps running and the screen on, plus it's using data the download the maps. All that happening at the same time will eat your battery.

But I only use it when I need to and turn off when I don't need it. I even turned off the network when I'm in the subway. Battery today is just as bad.

I agree with this, the network signal strength seems to me ,maybe the biggest factor affecting battery drain. Because something I've noticed even though I don't have battery life problems, my office is out of town, the phone switches to H+ and the battery goes down there ~25-30% faster than at home on LTE and wifi connected. And I'm running more apps at home too.

On a regular work day I can get to 50% after about 10-12 hours so I'm happy. That includes Facebook, Twitter and cb during my breaks.

Wow! I'm starting to think I got a bad battery. I am not watching videos at all...my use is primarily messaging, social media (Twitter) and some browsing, barely any phone and I can never get more than 5 hours without having to re-charge. I'm on the latest OS, have Bluetooth and wifi switched off and have downgraded the mobile connection from LTE. I don't keep any apps on other then when in use.
