Updated Twitter and I can't stand the auto update which you can't turn off. Any way possible to turn the auto update off?

Don't think so.. Haven't seen an option for that.

My auto update seems to run every few minutes when I am browsing down my list of tweets, this seems to push the tweet I was just scrolling past to a different position in the list, list this normally means I have to scroll up or down to find the spot I was at before I can continue down the list of tweets. Sometimes the refresh will take me almost to the top of my list. I then have to scroll back down to the point I was at, it is vey frustrating and makes it very difficult to keep track of what I have seen or not seen in the feed.

I found a workaround - use Blaq

Settings, accounts, press Twitter, disable the notifications.

Main page, swipe down bezel settings. Anything part of the hub should be there. All other settings should be in the downswipe bezel in their respective apps.
