    For the last week I started getting weird problems. On phone restart or boot, date and time gets changed and it takes almost 3-5 minutes to change back. During that time phone is useless.

    Go to your settings and disabled automatic set date and time

    I think you understood the problem wrongly. The phone is unresponsive for 3-5 minutes on each reboot

    Fixed in the latest OS... down from 3-4 minutes to about a minute... there still a slight lag though if you start android apps within the first 5 minutes.
