New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
Not much new to see here but if you compare the images of the Dev Alpha B device to the new image of the BB London you can see that the Dev Alpha B device is pretty much a BB London with a case around it.
Attachment 124138
Left: BB London ----------------------- Right: Dev Alpha B

It looks the same but i dont think it proves its the same.
Camera could be different. Inside could be different.

Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
we've known since the Dev B device was given out that it was basically London hardware. Now "basically" is not the same as "exactly". Im sure there will be some tweaks and additions with the internals, but the over all look of the device will not change.
I Personally would've preferred a more angular look though. The Nokia wp8 devices look hawt.

We'll see. I think there will still be some surprises at release.

Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
Why do say the device one on the left is bb london? Why not a dev alfa b without the square housing?

Thus the device that is being leaked not necessarily the final hardware or even the London that will be release

Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
Someone could have just removed the outer casing of the Dev B device and leaked it as BB London. Look at the edges. It probably shouldn't have those protruding edges.

Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
Wasn't it true that the casing of the DA B caused some difficulty with gestures? RIM should fix that then if London will have the same basic hardware!

Yes, you are correct.

It was the casing around the supposed London device that caused the gesture problems. So obviously when the casing is removed to reveal the final device (as we suppose is inside) then the gesture problems will go away.

The battery cover would likely extend to cover those ridges.

Apparently from the leaks London is the world phone which has internals similar to the Dev Alpha B.
The Lisbon and Laguna are the LTE versions with the S4s in them.

agree with you. This is not the final one. EU is not the final hardware which will be released to the market. But, it is close to final. The casing material of EU is the same with Dev Alpha A. We can expect any minor change for the BB10 Final, but don't expect to get the major change. Below is the front side

Attachment 124261 What do you mean by EU? Is it a London EU (European Union)?

Then I wonder how they will react when consumers buy protective casings (i.e. otterbox) for their brand new phones? Is it safe to guess that these may also cause difficulties with the gestures too?

As long as the cases are designed not to hug closely to the bezel like the Dev B casing does, it should be fine..

Ask Kevin, maybe he already has it in his pocket :)

Why dont these people who leak pictures just take quality pictures from all angles. What to they have to gain by holding back

Fixed leaks? Maybe thats why we have not seen A SINGLE N series leak...
Sent from my BOLD or maybe my soon to be BB10 PlayBook

Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
Whoa, I didn't realize GM modified their longblock to power the new devices...looks like bb10 will run like muscle cars!
-
Re: New images of BB London - Confirms it's pretty much a Dev B device
I think it would be funny if RIM leaked an image of the N series side or back. Then commentors and media would have a field day with very little new information about the phone (except maybe materials used.)

Leaked internal marketing video containing BlackBerry 10 L & N series phones appears online... first look at BB10 w/ keyboard! | CrackBerry.com
And the reason you don't see them is because very few people actually have them. The internal testing for N-Series devices is smaller than that of the L-Series.
