No matter what I do Facebook brings in my contacts. The settings are correct, the slide toggles in the account settings are off, but it still forces them. Its so annoying as I don't want them in my contacts. Anyone having this issue still? I'm about to delete and go back to a browser short cut like I had done with the first version.

If I understand correctly, go to your contacts box and swipe down from the top then select settings and then Facebook contacts off!

He didint mean that. He means that when he composes a text or email his Facebook contacts come up.

Anything with a valid email address appears on the popup. I'm guessing that this is a system feature (since that's where the popup occurs) and will need to be modified there.

New versions of Facebook, Twitter, etc will most likely not solve this issue to the original poster's satisfaction.

That works bit I have a lot of people on my Facebook I simply won't contact and don't have in my phone book. I'll stick to the browser shortcut or delete some people of Facebook I guess.
