I just got the z10, love it! But I cannot get my contacts and old text messages and apps off my old phone using Blackberry Link's Device Switch since my old phone is DEAD!!! Can someone help me figure out how to get all the info that ISN'T stored with my Blackberry ID? I backed up my old phone about a week ago before it died, so I'd get most of this data... but it's on my Desktop Manager! Help!!

unfortunately the only way I can think of to do so is borrowing someones BB and doing it that way.

Restore your previous BB info on the borrowed device and then sync it with BB Link to transfer everything over to your Z10.

I havent found any other way so far.

Funny I was thinking that as well...getting a loaner. Might be worth a try. Weird how BlackBerry didn't make the two desktop programs compatible though...
