I put in a new 2800 gold battery in my z10 and I am very impressed, I am getting at least 12hrs + out of it. I don't know if my original battery was faulty or not but that was running out after 6 to 8 hours.

Some advice please, I have 7 emails that I cannot delete, does not matter what I do. When I open the emails it says it could not display this message, these emails are split between two different accounts.

Remove and re-add accounts. If that doesn't work, backup, wipe and test before restoring.

    Sorry, it's a 2680 battery and not a 2800.

Is it the same size as the original? I'd it is, you might have been duped. There's a lot of them that just have a different wrapper.

I have heard that and if that was the case I have probably bought a standard 1800 battery but it is lasting a lot longer than the original so I am happy.

I am sorry to bring this topic alive again, but I just found it by looking something on the internet. And my question goes exactly for you fescue1:

The thing is that I just received a bettery like yours but I can't make it work. It seems that my Z10 just don't boot up with the battery. First the red led comes up and the blackberry logo appears, but suddenly the yellow led comes up and the phone turns out. I remember that when I had my curve 9360 I needed a pairing device to make the OEM extended battery to work, and that's my doubt: Did you need a pairing device to make the new battery compatible? Or you just bought it and it worked perfectly?

If you can tell me that, it would be very helpful. Thanks.
