I got a 10400mah one from xiaomi to keep in my backpack. Was only $11.

I spent 10 years in the UK, and yes my phones were usually set at 50-70% brightness. But here in sunny south east asia it just doesn't cut it. Even the trains are so brightly lit.

I suppose the fact I've been using 300cd ultra sharp displays on my workstations since 2002 is a factor too.

I don't know about you, but I can see the display at 40% under the sunlight just fine.
But that's just me. What device do you run?

Not a matter of seeing, but enjoying. I can see it even when I get it all the way down, but I can't enjoy the colours and clarity. In merry old England 70 was enough to enjoy. I use both a limited edition Z10 and a Q5 currently. Been using bb10 since Orlando 2012. Was fortunate enough to get the fully functional rom from BlackBerry for Dev purposes, not the limited one most others got.

Me too. Even 30% brightness doesn't suit me. Lol. I shut off my brightness
