By 1 in the afternoon in down to 30% its as bad if not worse than my ipad which has a bigger screen!! I've got a task manager but so far I can't locate a rogue app. It's ridiculous I can't have a phone that won't last me on the way back home in rush hour

Yeah, most are having that problem and battery is a big issue. There are tips posted for optimization. Other than that, plug into the car charger, or get an additional battery. I know- not real solutions, but those are the choices.....along with upgrading your OS. Luiz Suarez

Pretty odd for BlackBerry to give a smaller screen, darker theme Q10 a higher mAh battery than the Z10.

And that heating up issue, especially when browsing, is undoubtedly a battery drainer.

Turn off the feature "gesture to unlock the phone". Only turn on the phone by pressing power button.

Hard reset the phone every two or three days by holding both volume buttons until BlackBerry Logo shows up.
