I am a long time BB user on Verizon. I travel to Europe a lot and have always liked being able to just put a SIM card in from Yoigo or others and having my unlocked BB work. So, on 3G, one phone, CDMA and GSM, a real world phone.

Now, I am seeing a lot of model differences with the Z10 that make me think that the Z10 is no longer a true world phone. Can someone with real experience let me know if I can buy a SIM-free Z10 in the US (someday) and have it work on the LTE networks worldwide? Or, if that doesn't work, will it work on 3G networks? Or am I better off buying a GSM "version" and dumping Verizon (which I will likely do anyway due to them not grandfathering unlimited data plans)?

The answer is we don't know because VZW hasn't relaeased the specs for the phone they are releasing yet....

BB hasn't released the specs on the various versions of the Z10? Verizon isn't building the hardware, so BB had to send them something. I can't believe the new RIM is that good at keeping secrets.
