Link for some reason will not let me choose my file that I want to restore like before.

I know there are other programs. I forget the names of them. Can someone please give me a hand please!!

    Thanks on advance

Are you using a leaked OS or official? If it's leaked that could be why it not letting you chose earlier backups.

    Careful! Z10 in action!

Yes, Sachesi is the best bet: Sachesi
    1. Put it in a folder on it's own (it's a stand-alone program)
    2. Plug your device into your PC.
    3. Double click the Sachesi exe file to launch it. Enter your device password, if you use one.
    4. Go to the Backup tab, click Load Backup Options
    5. Select the Options, then click Restore Backup..
    6. Navigate to the location of your backup file, select it.

*** Note that BlackBerry Link must already installed on the computer (this installs drivers you'll need).
*** Unless you know what you're doing, do not mess with the other, advanced options within Sachesi!

BB Link should be installed, but not running when you launch Sachesi.

Try connecting your device, wait for your computer to receognize it. You should see a system pop-up saying the volumes are mounted. You can also check "My Computer" to see the BB drives.

Once recognized, launch Sachesi., go to the backup tab. If it still spins after a couple of minutes, click the install tab, click "Refresh" and wait for files to appear in the window. Then go back to the Backup tab. The options should be avialable now.

So you're able to select the restore options? What happens when you navigate to the backup file? Are you getting an error message?

Once you have the options showing on the backup tab, select the options you want to restore, and then click "Restore Backup".

The search settings have nothing to do with the backup/restore process.

But it won't give me the options to select the correct back up... only the one from after doing the security wipe... which is only 128mb.... the back up I want is over 6gb..... and now it won't show my z10 icon at the bottom of the screen on link like it use to...
