pretty sure that any movement on most phones out there will lead to a less than ideal shot. The z10 does fairly well IMO. Not the best but not the worst either

You may not be able to tell the differences if you are viewing this via CB10 app, but the difference between each picture is just blurriness

Well this was taken from my friends Z10 and it turned out really good. Also, there are no filters or editing done, he just got a really good shot.

Seriously guys compare this to an iPhone or galaxy S3 and it's complete ****. The auto focus takes forever and the slightest movement messes up the entire picture

I take awesome pictures with my Z10. My galaxy and iPhone friends are always impressed and pictures after actually better on my device than on theirs.
I think you need to learn how the camera works.

Are you taking pictures in 16:9 or 4:3? Switch to 4:3. I take great pictures with my Z10 and have no complaints.

While the Z/Q10's camera isn't bad at all, it no way compares to the camera on my S3, pictures are just much better on the Sammie. With regards to autofocus there's absolutely no difference in the time the two devices take to focus, the S3 probably has better quality lens or something because hands down pictures are way better on the S3!.........the only difference is that while the camera app is still loading (or lagging) on the S3, you would've taken like 2 pictures on the Q10!

Looking at the side by side the first 2 are pretty damn close to the same. The shot on the right is a little better but not near as bad as you are claiming.

The second set of pictures which are zoomed have a clear difference. BUT anytime you zoom with a digital zoom this will be an issue. The slightest movement when zooming will kill the picture pretty much on any device as the shake is magnified basically. So obviously when you take away all the shake the picture looks much better.

Haven't compared it to iPhone or S4. I know the iPhone gets better reviews for the camera though. (of course somehow they manage to get better reviews on everything compared to be very other phone out there.... I don't trust reviewers anymore)

But I can tell you that I get much better shots than my employees Note 2. Just world's apart.

Yes I am by no means claiming to be a professional photographer, I am not the greatest at taking pictures. But its just whenever I use my friends phones I can take much better pictures, obviously meaning the camera on the other phones are much better.

The iPhone 4s is horrible at pictures. It's an 8 MP, but the shots were always blurry. The S4 has a 13MP camera, but even with that, it didn't take as good of pictures as I expected. The Z10 took great pictures for me last night at a Charlie Daniels concert.

I actually find that pretty hard to believe. So I guess whenever I use an Iphone or Galaxy I somehow learn how the camera works? I am not outright bashing the Z10, this is just constructive criticism and something i think they should work on.

I quite like the z10 camera. Way better my Nexus 4. I can't compare it to the S4 but I know the iPhone has a good camera.

It does what I want it to and I can't think of anything else I would need out of it.

    Hey Jason,

I can understand your frustration with blurry pictures, however I can't say my experience has been the same. I took my Z10 on my trip to Machu Pucchu and the pictures turned out great.

The camera on Z/Q10 is a very good. Especially if you are on OS10.1. The tweaks they added are amazing and the options added to 10.2 are going to make it even better. I have taken better shots than my girls iPhone5 in most situations. Most of the time I have HDR off, believe it or not, and on auto. Takes a nice quick snap with little blur. The HDR may blur on moving objects or when you move. They are meant for still pics really. I know iPhone has HDR that doesn't blur as much but the HDR is not as good in most cases on the iPhone. It takes almost the same shot with it off. My opinion, of course, using both devices. As for androids, well sammie leads in hardware and in WP nokias have always had amazing cameras. But in a real world comparison they are all very good cameras. I would not call Z10 camera ****. It isn't at all. Keep trying. Play with the settings and find what works for the pictures you take. My advice is keep it on quick shot action type settings and only change when you want to take a still or a portrait of friends or something.

Edit: Don't know if this is the best example but meh. Take it as average? Fire is strange because I took it with HDR on so it blurred the flames a little.
