Hello all,
My previous z10 was stolen.
I bought a new one from somebody, with an invoice, brand new in a sealed box, with an invoice.
All works perfectly, but I can't restore my backup files because my new device has Balckberry Balance installed. There is only Work Space, but is seems that ther is not Personal space. Apparently, the guy who sold me the phone got is from his work.
I reset factory defaults, re-installed OS, nothing helps: BB Balance reappears again.
Could you help please how to get rid of this Balance, or at least to create Personal space where I can restore my data.

When I try to make restore from the backup form the previous device, BBLink tells me that there is no Personal space on my device.
Impossible de delete Work space Neither : the weel turns round for 12 hours and more....
So the problem is there I can't restore the backup with BB Balance on the device.
May anybody help please ?

Question for you? Who had Balance activated? You stated the device was New In Box and sealed. Was it and did your company activate Balance? If so contact your IT department to remove balance, do your restore, then reactivate Balance and see if that works? If Balance was on the device out of the box, return it for another as it is NOT new.

The box was new, never opened.
But Balance is activated. I suggest that BB Balance was pre-loaded for a company the guy work in by the supplier. And then he sells it to me. I am in France ))
I don't have contacts of the guy anymore, won't be able to return it back.
Is there a way to completely re-initiate the device (by bricking it, and then by e-initiating all ???) or to create at least a Personal space ?

Isn't balance only available for enterprise users who pay for it? I'm sure your devices pin is turning it on, as it's been enabled (every BlackBerry 10 device is already carrying the software to enable balance, but consumers here don't have it turned on - you cant) . Would need someone to clarify that 100% though.
