If you can get it for less than $100, maybe. You can get an unlocked Z30 on shopBlackberry for $229.

Instagram runs fine, Snapchat does not.

Yeah, the z10 is still an awesome phone. I like the size.

Really, for the price it's a winner. The z30 is solid but I didn't like the ribs around the screen ... chipped easy and I didn't want a case on the bigger phone.

Using a z10 right now and I have an iPhone 6. Really like the z10.

What are you using just now? If you're on an older (pre 2013) handset, any OS, and open to learning to use a new OS, and don't have the budget for a Z30, then go for it. My wife has 2 Z10s, one for work and one for personal. Great phones in terms of messaging, telephony, browser and hardware design. Let down a bit by the mediocre battery life (get an external battery pack or the BB battery pack if you're a heavy user), and it's unlikely to be supported after OS 10.3, so don't pay more than $100 or so. For that money, the Windows or Android alternatives are pretty brutal. If you can stretch to $200 or so, get the Z30 instead.

Your case is semi unique. The 01 is a problem. Standard Z10 isn't really an issue imo - I loved my LE before going to a Passport. For me it's worth it.

Own a 100-2. Would not change it for anything. For a while I was thinking of replacing it with a passport but after a while I changed my mind.

Depends on your needs. I have a pair of them, and an Android phone I never use. I work with the Z10, play with a tablet. Never let me down.

I know 01 is an issue, my query is why BlackBerry isn't doing anything for 01?
Why did this product was launched if they dint had/have the manpower to support.
It costs 18k rupees here, and that's huge amount for me!
BlackBerry is clearly showing that they are not interested in sells in these countries where 01 was launched.
Very bad experience with BlackBerry.
That's why I will not recommend anyone to get bb.

I agree on the bigger issues... Trust me, they have done a whole lot worse to me than simply failing to support one ailing phone model. They've cost me 5,000 CAD (262k Rupees) due over the last year just due to them feeling like getting rid of runtimes. And a further unknown amount as they only advertise my competitor in the AV space, but estimated around 50k (2.62M Rupees) in losses there due to their selective hidden monopoly over the space.

With that said though, I've had the opposite experience with my Z10 LE's. They ran great and when they eventually died, bbry replaced them out of good will. And now my family is on passports. I love BB10 and the devices we have. But I also don't have a model -01 and prices for a Z10 are in the 100CAD range. You can't get a decent droid at that price with those specs, and a bbry device gives you droid + some.

I guess it depends which country the OP lives in. AT&T not worldwide ?
