    Hi
Upgrading to 10.2.1 has rendered my Z10 completely useless. The battery goes flat in no time and its soooo slow. I've done a back up on Link, now can I revert to a previous OS? And can i keep my messages, contacts and Apps?

    thanks

How long has it been since you upgraded to 10.2.1.? Did you install a leak or upgrade the official way?

You may want to do a factory reset and restore your data, as opposed to trying to revert to a previous version. I would recommend against downgrading... you'll want 10.2.1. Give the device some time to recalibrate first, though. See if the lagginess takes care of itself. Then you could try the factory reset, which should give you a clean 10.2.1 OS.

I upgraded Thursday night. Plenty of time for a 1.5GHz dual core processor to do this mythical indexing nonsense I hear so much about. An old wives tale IMO.

If I do a factory reset (via Link?) and upload a back up, will I retain my contacts, apps and messages?

    Thanks in advance.
