I have a white z10 with this case and holster.....love it because it feels naked and displays the BB logo...I use for work or around town! great advertisement
When I am on the salt boating, I use seidio active for the extra protection....i have to take care of my baby sometimes even keep in a zip lock on the water

For the first five months or so, I used a Case-Mate Tough Case. It's pretty close to the Otterbox Commuter in terms of bulk and protection. But I figured it was a bit much, especially since even with the case on, I babied the phone. So for a month I used a BlackBerry Transform Shell. It was a nice case that had the BlackBerry name and logo on the back and felt pretty close to a naked Z10.

Finally, I took the case off and used my Z10 bare. It felt fantastic! I loved the feel of the Z10 and had forgotten how thin and light it was without any cases. Even after six months without a case (just a screen protector), the phone had no marks, dings, or scratches and looked just as good as the day I took it out of the box.

I just recently sold my Z10 so I could get a Z30. I have this in an Otterbox but I don't think it'll come out of it. The Z30 feels more pristine than the Z10, and with that comes both positives and negatives, the biggest being that it's more scratch-prone with the silver bands and lip. The Z10 can definitely survive being case-less.

I use a BlackBerry branded case, and think the power saving feature makes it almost vital for z10 phones. Talking a lot plus online too often the battery still lasts all day.

That plus I often work in extreme conditions, so a little extra protection really helps.
