I don't have a computer anymore and my Zed is really amazing I miss my computer but with flash support for BB10. I've been able to do almost anything I would normally do on my laptop. Right from the palm of my hand. I'm impressed and look forward to what BlackBerry has for us in the future. All the negative press and popular opinions aside. I think BlackBerry is going to keep the innovative process going. I will keep the brand as my main driver. Good job BlackBerry.

Nope won't need to do that either my carrier should push out the OS to the phone whether I use BlackBerry Link or not.

Jaydee makes a good point about the computer. It's always a good idea to back up your device before updating the OS. I do a back up once a week. Also, if you're in the US you'll be waiting forever for the latest update.

Good luck with the Z. There are some great people on CB to help with any issue you might encounter. Welcome!

Jaydee is talking about installing "leaked" OS, installed using an autoloader. And you need a computer for that

Would be even nicer if the Z10 would support WLAN Direct / Miracast to mirror the device screen on bigger screen (TV). Ok, there is also the micro HDMI Cable option and with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse its a mini computer with a huge screen.

Not tried it out yet. but pairing the Z10 with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse should not be a big problem.

Anybody using it that way and can recommend bluetooth mouse and keyboard that work good together with the Z10?

Being a student in computer science it's impossible to go without a laptop. Z10 does the rest very well though

I'm a mobile serviceman and use my z10 for 90% of my computing needs. Would be 99%, if websites were optimized better for mobile devices.

I do agree a laptop is best for updating the OS. Tried it OTA, locked up midstream, and nearly lost my data. Never again!
