    Title explains my problem, it's not really a thing but it would be nice if I can change them to 4G, 3G, and 2G instead. I believe it's an OS thing because back in 10.0 it used to display them as 4G, 3G and 2G but now on 10.1.0.4181 they end up showing H, and E and I can't set my radios to use LTE since it was removed somehow after the OS update.
    I have an STL100-2 with an Etisalat Sim in it.
    Any idea how to get my LTE back and change the way it shows the connectivity to 3G and 2G etc...

    I haven't heard of this happening on an official OS, but I did have a similar problem on one of the leaks... a security wipe solved the issue for me.

    E (EDGE) = 2G
    H/H+ = faster form of 3G

    Does your carrier officilly support LTE? If it does not, it should not be a big deal there. The LTE option will be back if your carrier supports LTE.

    Back when I had 10.0 and the same carrier I used to have LTE and H and E radios available in my setting but now I only have 2, H and E after 10.1 update...
    It's like I'm on a device with no LTE radio firmware on it.
    I will try a security wipe but I need to backup some stuff first, once I'm done with the camp..

    One thing I love about this phone is that it works on the 800 and 900 spectrum which was previously our tv analogue signal. They take less data but go much further indoors which is better for rural notspots. The iPhone 5 over here don't work on the 800 or 900 frequencies so if your on voda or O2 you won't get it!

    My Z-10 only shows 3 & 2G (some times E & H+). The Z-10's are supposed to be 4G ready, Yet when I am in a 4G area, it does not show 4G but 3 or 2G and then skips and bounces from E to H+ to 2G to 3G and back.
    Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution to this?

    My ISP explain that
    GPRS = 2G
    E = EDGE = 2.5G
    3G
    H+ = 3.5G

    Thank you for your response wuhoatu, but that still doesn't solve my problem as in terms of why the signal keeps skipping back and forth and not stay steady when in a region where signal is stable.

    Could this be carrier based? When using my regular sim, I had 2G/3G. But when I changed sim to a different carrier, I get H/H+.
