Just today, the bottom section of the screen (Blackberry logo) has developed a slight give with creaking / clicking sound when pressed. There is no visual indication that the screen is loose. The area in question feels like an iphone home button when pressed. This is annoying as it is an area frequently touched while doing the upward swipe.

Anyone else with the same problem?

FYI the phone is 3 weeks old. Dropped once in week no. 1 onto a carpeted floor. No visible damage.
It has not been exposed to the elements and is constantly in 20-23 Degree Celsius environs.

It clicks when I press the logo too, but can't say I would have noticed that if not for your thread. It isn't something that worries me. It isn't a functioning area of the phone.

You are correct. The OP would hear a snap sound if he or she bent the BlackBerry logo area downward. Some people expect plastics to be as strong as iron.

Some people... yes! For example engineers like me.

Now that i know it's just not my phone alone, I can rest easy (with the knowledge that it's just poor design, and not because I have a faulty piece).
