So... i was clicking around my office network and i saw my Z10's name under the network media folder. I have no idea how this happened and i certainly didn't install blackberry link.
.. So my big question is: how do i remove my phone from the office network? It's not like I can shrug it off and say it's not me when my device name is well... my name :-(
Any suggestions?

Was your device connect to the WiFi network? And did you try to access the files?

Settings, storage and access, disable wifi access.
Also
Settings, media sharing, disable toggles
If you want, on this same screen, you can change your device name to something that doesn't identify yourself. Like, "brokenfaxmachine"

yeah i was connected to the wifi network. But then i disconnected when I saw my device, and it still showed. And no, i didn't try to access the media files...
