MY Z10 Battery stuck at 79%

My Z10 battery stuck at 79% and won't go beyond 79% even I've charged it overnight.
Been realizing this after a week, first I thought it was the charger problem, been using a generic charger for all my gadgets (Sammy and Blackberry) but never encounter this problem. So I replaced the charger with the Z10 charger, and left it overnight, and still the same, the battery charging stop at 79% and does not go beyond that.

my Z10, STL100-1, on a 10.2.1.1055.

Anybody has the same problem? I have been searching thru this forums, but did not find any related thread.

Are you using original battery..?

Have you tried turning off the device and/or pulling the battery? Some chargers have different voltages so I'd stick with the OEM charger.

I believe I read a similar problem on the forums.

If I remember correctly, there were two solutions.

1. Remove the battery and put it back in
2. Allow the battery to fully discharge and fully charge a couple of times.

Yes I am using original battery.

A funny thing, after I posted this thread, while pluged my z10 into my PC usb, I left it for a several minutes. After I came back I saw my battery back to 100%.

I read on this forum about the leaked OS bugs and fixes, it mentioned about this erroneous battery percentage issue. It also mentioned the way to fix this is take out the battery for an hour or two, and put it back. I dunno if this tricked worked or not, but in my case pluged it in my PC usb seems to solve this issue.

I dunno if this is related or not, what I also did with my z10 while pluged it into the USB was reinstalled the media player apps using the .bar file downloaded from the bugs and fixes thread, leave it several minutes, and my battery back to 100%. Maybe reinstalling the media player has got something to do with the battery? I dunno... it is a mystery.

Charging via USB not working for me, though. Still stuck at 81%.
IDK, how to re-install media files again, so still awaiting some simpler solution.

It worked, it worked. Thanks. I saw it 5 mins back at 81% and now zipped to 100%. Wooohoooo... Thanks man. Now lets see if it reaches 100% with normal plug-in charger as well, wll try that once im home.

Set to airplane mode and recharge.
