    I know we already have thousand of threads about the restarting issue, but this is the first time I encountered this problem since yesterday ATT update!
    3 times in less than half an hour it's a lot! did anyone else experience that same problem after the update?

    Has happened to my sister's phone a couple times and my friends for the first time today, both on verizon, I haven't had any restarts or lock ups on mine.

    Verizon phones have been reported doing this the most it seems. Everyone is waiting for them to release an update already. Not sure what is taking them so long.

    I've had too frequent random reboots. Might wipe and fresh install, to see if that clears it up, before I suspect the OS.

    I had a random re-boot the first night I got my phone. I did a soft re-boot this afternoon bc i couldn't get My Verizon app to load (loaded right up after re-boot). Then I was merging two icons together to create a folder, phone froze for a several seconds and re-booted itself.. #ohwell

    VZW needs to release an OS update ASAP! They are going to tick off a lot of BlackBerry customers.

    Had an at&t phone restart itself 3-4 times a day, exchanged it for a new one.
    Had this one for 2 days with one restart... which is better but still needs to be ironed out

    edit: I did a factory wipe on the first one and it didnt fix the problem

    Yesterday was my worst day yet. I rebooted 4x from 1:30 -5:30 pm! I was doing a lot of emails with attachments and at 5:30x I just plugged into the car charger. I have replacement coming Tuesday, but the reboots have not affected me that much. I just want to make sure that it's not a hardware issue. Still a great phone!

    I've not had any spontaneous reboots since the update, but they've only been an "Every few days" kinda thing for me. I don't think the update was meant to address the reboots, so I'm not going to hold my breath on this one... I will live in hope though

    i had the phone reboot on stock settings so I doubt apps are the problem

    That's crazy, I'm in Canada on Rogers and I had it since launch day, and I haven't had any problems with mine yet, no reboots ect. Maybe I'm lucky lol I dunno but hopefully yours gets sorted out, I'd maybe try a new device

    I'm also Rogers (west coast) with NO issues. Seems to be AT&T and Verizon only. That's gotta suck!

    well if its AT&T and verizon issues it gives hope that its a software problem and not a device issue.
    Although it doesnt explain why the replacement i received doesnt reboot nearly as often as my old one
