If they don't delete, try restarting the Hub (How to restart the BlackBerry 10 Hub easily using this awesome five swipe gesture! | CrackBerry.com), or restarting the phone.

After the restart, try to delete it again.

I had the same problem, I deleted it when I opened the message then chose to delete.
