In OS 7 there was an about section which showed you the frequency bands...

I read somewhere that the RFF91LW and the RFK121LW are both Pentaband (the RFF91LW gains the 1700 frequency once it's unlocked)
That's good news if true, can you post the source?

keep in mind that t-mobile also has 1900MHz 4G in refarmed areas, which could explain why the RFF91LW works on 4G for t-mo users. . but, since these phones are firmware locked to their bands (at least the ones with identical chipsets) then it's possible that the t-mo firmware is ultimately unlocking 1700MHz 4G. . i, too, would like to see a graphical confirmation of this happening since it would indeed make the RFF91LW even more compelling than trying to source the seemingly rare RFK121LW.

edit: here is the post saying an unlocked RFF91LW uses 1700MHz 4G: http://forums.crackberry.com/t-mobil...2/#post8028994

edit again: sounds like the t-mobile version is an RFK121LW, making it worth the wait for t-mo users. http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...2/#post8147250

Thanks for the review. I agree with you about getting it into the hands of people so that they can try it for themselves. I already have some targets in mind when I finally get mine, former BB users, who I know miss their BB.
